Our team at Lillestol Research is comprised of a superior staff of clinical research coordinators and clinical trial assistants with years of experience conducting clinical trials, as well as an in-house attorney and administrative staff.
Dr. Lillestol is a board certified Internal Medicine physician in practice since 1977. He began his interest in clinical research in 1990. He has served as a Principal Investigator on more than 150 clinical research trials since that time. Dr. Lillestol earned his Doctorate of Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota in 1974. He has received numerous honors and appointments throughout his medical career. He is also a registered Pharmacist in North Dakota and Minnesota.
Mary is a Registered Nurse and graduate of Abbott Northwestern School of Nursing and Golden Valley Lutheran College. She has been involved in clinical research with Dr. Lillestol since 1990. She has served as a Clinical Research Coordinator on multiple trials and continues her clinical research involvement at Lillestol Research as the Vice President/CFO.
Kimberly joined Lillestol Research in 2006 as its Chief Operating Officer. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, ND. Kimberly also graduated from UND with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Psychology and Chemistry. Kimberly negotiates clinical trial budgets and contracts, prepares for regulatory submission and is responsible for clinic management/operation. She and her husband, Matt, have three children, Hunter, Connor and Anna.
Mykell joined Lillestol Research in 2009 as the Director of Operations. She serves as Sub-Investigator on all of our clinical trials. Mykell earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND in 2008. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Nursing from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN in 2004. Mykell works closely with Dr. Lillestol on all of our clinical trials and directly manages the clinical research team.
Susan has acted a Sub-Investigator on Dr. Lillestol's clinical trials since 2004. Susan received her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Marywood University, Scranton, Pennsylvania, in 2004. She is a full-time Certified Physician's Assistant at Dr. Lillestol's primary care clinic, Internal Medicine Associates, located adjacent to Lillestol Research LLC.
John joined Lillestol Research in 2007 as the Director of Study Finances. He earned his Associate of Applied Business Degree from Scottsdale Community College in Scottsdale, AZ in 2006 and is pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND. John coordinates and manages study finances within the financial team at Lillestol Research.
Kris joined Lillestol Research in 2011 as the Information Systems Manager. He has worked previously for Microsoft and Noridian Administrative Services in support, programming, development and analysis of IS systems. Kris earned his Bachelor of Science degree in information systems from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, in 2002.
Vicki joined Lillestol Research in July 2010 as a Study Coordinator and in November 2010 added the title of Recruitment Specialist. She is a certified clinical research coordinator with more than four years of industry experience. Vicki earned her BA in Spanish from the University of North Dakota.
Rachael joined Lillestol Research in 2008 as a Study Coordinator. She is a certified clinical research coordinator with more than nine years of industry experience. Rachael earned her BS in Health Care Administration from Minnesota State University.
Dianne joined Lillestol Research in 2009 as a Study Coordinator. She is an RN, graduating from Presentation College in Aberdeen, South Dakota in 1975.
In her spare time, Dianne and her husband enjoy time at the lake with their children, grandchildren, and extended family.
Jessica joined Lillestol Research in 2008 as a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator. She has more than 14 years of health care experience with 9 of those years being dedicated to research. She obtained her BS in Biology from Mayville State University and her Masters of Business Administration with a health care emphasis from the University of Mary. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping and spending time with her children: Ashtyn, Kennady, and Karsten.
Amy joined Lillestol Research in 2009 as Administrative Assistant. She is now Office Manager who helps with marketing and clinical trial assisting. Amy earned her BS in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations/Marketing and minor in Psychology from Minnesota State University Moorhead, Minnesota. Amy was also named the Lillestol Research "Shining Star" for the 2010 year.
Hudi joined Lillestol Research in 2008 as a Clinical Trial Assistant. He maintains IATA certification for lab processing at our site and assists in data entry and maintenance. Hudi earned his BA in Biology from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Michele joined Lillestol Research in 2011 as a Study Coordinator. She is an LPN and a certified clinical research coordinator with more than eight years of industry experience. Michele earned her BA in biology from Minnesota State University and her LPN from Rasmussen College, both Moorhead, Minnesota. Michele is also currently pursuing her RN at North Dakota State University, Fargo.
Andrea joined Lillestol Research in 2010 as a Clinical Trial Assistant and is now our Marketing Coordinator. Andrea earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Apparel and Textiles from North Dakota State University with a Minor in Marketing from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
DeAnn joined Lillestol Research in 2010 as a Study Coordinator. She is a Registered Nurse with over 7 years of nursing experience. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Nursing from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota. DeAnn and her husband, Brad, have a son, Wyatt, and are expecting their second child in 2012.
Sara joined Lillestol Research in 2008. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Nursing from Jamestown College, Jamestown, ND in 1996. Sara also achieved her certified clinical research coordinator accreditation in 2011. She brings nearly 12 years of nursing experience to our clinic, including acute coronary care unit and oncology nursing. Sara was named Lillestol Research's "Shining Star" for the 2011 year.
Sarah joined Lillestol Research in 2007 with 5 years of industry experience and 8 years of phlebotomy experience. Sarah attended Concordia College in Moorhead with emphasis in Biology and Spanish. Since joining the Lillestol Research team she has received her certification as a clinical research coordinator. She currently resides in Fargo with her husband, Eric.
Kriste joined Lillestol Research in 2006 as a Study Coordinator. Kriste earned her BS from North Dakota State University and earned her certification as a clinical research coordinator. Kriste is also a Diplomat Medicolegal Death Investigator and Deputy Coroner for Cass County, North Dakota.
